Thank you for sharing your experience with your husband.

No matter what happens, the choice you make will be exactly the right choice for you. You are being so brave for being honest with yourself and your husband about your needs and feelings. I think the best and really the only thing you can do in this situation is staying true to yourself.

Also, remember this — you are not responsible for other people’s feelings — you can only be responsible for your own. No matter how much you adjust or change your behavior to make someone else happy — they can only be happy from within themselves. The opposite is true as well — other people won’t make you happy. You will.
